Poonch, Jan 27: Despite spending crores on Water Supply Scheme Dhara-Fatehpur, nobody has been benefitted by this scheme. According to the sources, the project was started in 2006 which has seven stages including base stage (bore) but all the systems are defunct and officials posted at the schemes have ensured their transfers to other places. It has come to fore that thousands of pipes have been stolen by `insiders' forcing closure of the scheme way back in 2014-15. The locals have demanded high level probe into what they called `multi-crore scam'. |
