Disgruntled BJP activists remain aloof to PM's rally | | | Early Times Report VIJAYPUR, Feb 4: The BJP leaders of Vijaypur Assembly Constituency may have been rejoicing the successful rally of the Prime Minister held yesterday at Vijaypur but some BJP activists holding the official positions in the district samba unit of the party remained inactive for the mega show. A host of office bearers of the district unit of the BJP were not visible during the PM's rally and one such leader was Tarsem Lal, who holds the post of secretary in the district body. Mincing no words, Tarsem Lal said that he along with several others are not satisfied with the work and conduct of the ex-minister and former MLA of Vijaypur Constituency adding that this was the main reason that he and few others preferred to stay away from the PM's rally. Lal said that he is fed up with the policies and programmes opted by the ex-MLA. He said the matter was even taken up before the senior leaders but none has tried to address the same. The disgruntled leader said that he has left with no other alternative to say good bye to the party. He further said that many workers of Vijaypur constituency who are not satisfied by the ex-MLA may also left the party. |
