What is a School teacher doing in RDD for 17 years? | | | Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 4: In another open violation of rules and regulations and the repeated directions issued by the government from time to time ordering immediate cancelation of deputation of all the employees and asking the employees to report back to the feeding department with immediate effect, a school teacher from Dachhan identified as Radha Krishan is calling shots in the department by holding the post of VLW which is marked with the massive expose of mass scale corruption that rocks the Rural Development Kishtwar. As per the details available with ET, this influential teacher was deputed in the RDD department in the year 2002-2003 during PDP-Congress government and since then continuously he was enjoying the political patronage from various quarters as this influential teacher knows the art of molding himself with different political regimes. The sources told the “Early Times” that the said teacher unsuccessfully attempted to get himself inducted as inspector in RDD which was opposed by the VLW association. The sources said that this teacher remains at fore front to deal with departmental issues before the Information Commissioner recently after no one from the department agreed to defend the concern BDO who is denying the information to RTI applicant and was summoned by the Commission. The sources said that Radha Krishan remained posted in Dachhan block larger part of these 17 years before he was transferred to Marwah block by the ACD Kishtwar who instead of relieving him back to education department obliged him by transferring him to another block. Reacting to the issue, Political and Social Activist Abdul Wahid Malik called upon the Governor administration to send back this influential teacher to education department as the local schools in Marwah sub division are facing shortage of the teaching staff. “The prime duty of teacher is to teach-he (Radha Krishan) should be sent back to original department with immediate effect” added Malik.
