Samba, Feb 4: Principal Sessions Judge Samba MK Sharma rejected the bail applications of Romi Masih, Deepak Choud-hary, Pawan Kumar and Arinash Magotra from whom 5.5 grms heroine was recovered.
While rejecting bail, Principal Sessions Judge Samba MK Sharma after hearing Public Prosecutor Bhupinder Singh Charak for the State observed that total contraband recovered from the possession of all the accused is 5.5 gms, which falls in intermediate quantity.
The menace of drug is eating the roots of the society and the victims are innocent school and college going children. Therefore, the petitioners/accused are involved in a case of serious nature and cannot claim bail as a matter of right. |
