Jammu, Feb 4: Paras Dubey and Manglam Bhaarat both from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University secured first and second position respectively at District Youth Parliament, Reasi. The event was held at Govt. General Zorawar Singh Memorial Degree College, Reasi and sponsored by Government of India. The student had to speak for three minutes in any one of four given topics i.e. India sets global narratives on Terrorism, India sets global narratives on Economic Offenders, India sets global narratives on Climate Change and Best time for Indian Sports persons to make a mark. Nine students namely Nikhil Sharma, Anshita Gupta, Paras Dubey, Shivi Badyal, Harshita Anand, Uttam Singh, Manik Singh Jamwal, Mayank Laroia and Manglam Bhaarat cleared the first round of Digital Interview. Selected students will appear for State Youth Parliament going to be held in February, 2019. Ex. MLA from Reasi Ajay Nanda was the chief guest on the occasion. He appreciates the efforts made by students and wishes them for State Youth Parliament. |
