Apart from this, all Assistant Directors were directed by Director Amit Sharma to submit various reports in a time bound manner and take lead in conducting checks in the markets especially regarding Essential Commodities falling under the ambit of FCS&CA department. He mentioned that Assistant Directors should adhere to the timelines mentioned in PDS Calendar and make all efforts to clear pendency in Legal matters which have been lingering on for years together for one reason or the other. Assistant Directors of various districts participated actively in the meeting and few decisions were taken to streamline the functioning of FCS&CA department in entire Jammu division. All the officers assured the Head of Department Amit Sharma that they shall perform work with best zeal and enthusiasm in coming times which shall directly result into transparency in working of FCS&CA department and better delivery of services to the public in future.
