| Police solves blind murder case | | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, Feb 6: With the arrest of accused, Police Station Kathua in a prompt and decisive action under the supervision of Shridhar Patil-Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kathua claimed to have solved blind murder case.
Addressing media persons, DySP Headquarters Kathua-Nikhil Rasgotra flanked by Inspector Arvind Sambyal-SHO Kathua and SI Vikas jasrotia-Incharge police post Nagri said that in the early morning of 3rd February, one person namely Pappu Ram son of Kishan Chand of Nadooliyan, Nagri reported at Police post Nagri that one of his family members spotted body of his brother namely Bittu Ram in Nullah near fields who has been brutally murdered by some unknown persons on the intervening night of 02/03-02-2019.
DySP further said that after receiving the information a case under FIR no. 38/2019 under section 302 of RPC was registered and a police team headed by Nikhil Rasgotra DySP Hq along with Inspector Arvind Sambyal-SHO Kathua and Incharge police post Nagri-Vikas Jasrotia rushed to the spot.
"Police team based on evidences collected from spot and information gathered from local sources, rounded up one suspect namely Munish Kumar of Nadooliyan Tehsil Nagri who after sustained questioning confessed his crime", said Nikhil.
Further investigation is going on to ascertain involvement of any other person in commission of this crime. |
