| Malhotra inaugurates NGO office, distributes blankets among needy | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 6: Vikram Malhotra-President District Congress Committee Jammu Urban today inaugurated an office of NGO namely "All India Shaheed Bhagat Singh Brigade Samaj Sudhaar Samiti" at Christian Colony Jammu and distributed blankets to the poor.
Speaking on the occasion Vikram Malhotra welcomed the NGO for opening its office at Christian Colony where most of the residents are poor and belong to down trodden sections of the society. He hoped that the NGO would work as per objectives and serve the deprived sections of the society in many ways. He said that such like NGOs have greater role to supplement the efforts of the Govt. to ameliorate the lot of economically poor people in order to bring out of the poverty in this time when the cost of living has gone up in view of unprecedented price rise. |
