GCW Jammu holds State Youth Parliament 2019 | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 6: Government College for Women Parade Ground Jammu hosted the State Youth Parliament 2019 for J&K wherein 50 participants from 19 districts voiced their viewpoints on different topics. Speaking on the occasion, MLC Romesh Arora, welcomed all the participants and highlighted the importance of such events initiated by the Prime Minister Narender Modi which helps in unfolding the hidden talent of young minds. S P Bhatnagar, Regional Director NSS New Delhi in his address highlighted the entire scheme of National Youth Parliament 2019 launched by the Ministry. Out of 50 participants two candidates namely Srishti (District Jammu) and Vishal Pathania (District Kathua) were adjudged First and Second winners, who will participate in the National Youth Parliament to be held on 23rd and 24th Feb, 2019 at New Delhi. In his address Director Colleges Prof. Chatt highlighted the importance of the event in which all the best speakers of J&K state were given a chance to come together on a common platform and interact with each other. |
