Kathua, Mar 6: Nehru Yuva Kendra, Kathua has selected Logate to develop it with the help of village Panchayat, youth and village community as a model village to implement the plan of "Yuva Adarsh Gram Vikas Karyakaram". For the purpose NYK has to organize, motivate, guide, aware to eradicate social evils and link the youth with various developmental activities, flagship programmes, coordinate with other departments & agencies and ensure their active participation in those activities for result oriented. Yuva Adarsh Gram Vikas Karyakaram was inaugurated by Dr. Shubhra Sharma, Addl. District Development Commissioner, Kathua by lightening of lamp as 1st phase on Social Developmental Issues. In her address, she stressed upon to organize themselves in Youth Clubs, SHG to enable themselves to eradicate social evils effectively from the society and actively participate in developmental activities especially women. By organized way they can establish effective link with various departments of district administration to get benefits of the welfare schemes of govt. and can actively participate in developmental process. |
