Jammu, Apr 2: 2nd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu VS Bhou acquitted Hilal Ahmed son of Mohammad Ismail resident of Tral District Pulwama-Kashmir as evidence on record was found contradictory. Court after hearing Adv Prince Khanna appearing for the accused person observed that Court have no hesitation to hold that there is sheer violation of section 52, 55 and 57 of the NDPS Act besides the evidence on record is contradictory and on the basis of contradictory evidence, which is so weak and fragile, accused cannot be convicted. The benefit of doubt goes to the accused, challan fails and accordingly dismissed. Accused Hilal Ahmed, who faced trial was acquitted of the charge. |
