BJP stands for genuine secularism: Ajatshatru Singh | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 6: BJP Senior leader and Member Legislative Council, M K Ajatshatru Singh said that BJP believes in genuine secularism and does resort to appeasement of any section of the society. He expressed this during public meetings held in Bamyal, Chibba, Marh and adjoining areas of Nagrota in Jammu-Poonch parliamentary constituency. While addressing people in different panchayats in Nagrota Ajatshatru exposed the opposition parties on account of their pseudo-secular credentials. He opined that these parties create mistrust among various religious groups in a bid to exploit the common masses. He said that various schemes being run by Narinder Modi government at the centre have benefitted each and every Indian and nobody was discriminated on account of religion, caste, or any other parameter. He specifically addressed the Gujjar and Bakerwal community to support Modi's vision of an all-inclusive development. He said that these communities have been exploited most by the opposition parties and have been kept away from fruits of development. It is the present central government that has ensured best facilities for these communities and there are a number of schemes in the pipeline for them so that they can be brought at par with the mainstream. While campaigning in favour of BJP candidate for Jammu- Poonch Parliamentary constituency Jugal Kishore Sharma, he asked the electorate to support the party candidate by sending him to parliament with an extra-ordinary margin. |
