Doda, Apr 6: Two medical staffers of Tanta village of Doda district are unauthorisedly absent since 3 months.
As per attendance register, two FMPHW medical staff are absent from their duties.
They have been identified as Rachna Devi who was absent from 15th of December 2018 last year and other one is Zoow Banoo absent from March 2019 thereby leaving the patients to fend for themselves.
The report came after inspection by a local sarpanch who visited to the Center and found two doctors of National Rural Health Mission absent from their duties from December 2018.
They complained that there were hardly any medical staff to look after the patients.
They requested the Block Medical Officer, SDM Thathri and Tehsildar Kahara to visit the Medical center regularly atleast once a month. In rural areas ofJammu and Kashmir state, there is a common issue of unauthorized absence of medical staff, due to which hundreds of poor patients suffer, the locals said. |
