Kathua April 29, Lok Adalat was held in the premises of District Court complex Kathua, under the Chairmanship of Sanjeev Gupta, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority (Pr. District & Sessions Judge) Kathua. In order to settle the cases in the Lok Adalat, two benches were constituted. Bench No. 1 comprised of Sanjeev Gupta, Pr. District & Sessions Judge Kathua and Smt. Kusum Pandita, Chief Judicial Magistrate Kathua. Bench No. 2 constituted of Smt. Preet Simran Kour Munsiff JMIC Kathua and Sh. Munish Kumar Manhas District Mobile Magistrate Kathua. A total number of Thirteen (13) cases i,e Seven (7) Bank cases, Five (5) 138 NI Act and One (1) Civil suit, were settled and disposed off. Settlement amount of Rs 22,26,232/- in Bank cases has also been passed in favour of the beneficiaries. |
