KATRA, Apr 29: The Sports Meet of Gurukul Charan Paduka, Katra began at Shrine Board's Sports Complex, Katra. On this occasion three matches were played in Volleyball section.
The first match was played between Niharika and Trikuta teams.
The former defeated their opponents in straight 2 sets.
In the second match played in the morning session the Saraswati team defeated Vaishnavi team by 2-0. In the third match Niharika outplayed Kalika by 2-0 sets.
Tomorrow, besides final match in Volleyball, the competitions in Table Tennis and Basketball would be organized at the same venue. Dr Arvind Karwani, Dy CEO, SMVDSB, Administrator Gurukul declared the tournament open and blessed the best of their games and future. |
