Srinagar Train services in Kashmir have been resumed on Tuesday after remaining suspended on Monday for security reasons, a senior railway official said. A senior railway official told that train service was resumed this morning in the valley. A fresh advisory was received from the police to resume the train service after remaining suspended on Monday in view of the election in Kulgam district. Therefore, he said, trains will run as per schedule on Budgam-Srinagar-Anantnag -Qazigund in south Kashmir and Banihal in Jammu region today. Similarly, trains will also chug on Srinagar-Budgam and Baramulla in north Kashmir, he added.
