MENDHAR, May 17: A market checking squad on Wednesday imposed fine of Rs 5400 on the defaulters and also destroyed rotten fruits and sweets at Mendhar. On the direction of District Development Commissioner Poonch a team comprising Tehasildar Mendhar Dr Vikram Sharma Naib Tehasildar Mendhar Mohd Afzal Dr Javid Ahmed Medical officer SDH Mendhar Food Safety inspector Zaffer Ahmed Mir TSO Mendhar Mohd Khaliq along with police party made a surprise visit to Mendhar market and destroyed 150 kg fruits , 600 kg vegetables, sweets , 8kg polythene and imposed a fine of Rs 5400 upon the defaulters. N Tehasildar appealed to the shopkeepers to mating cleanliness of the Market. |
