REASI, May 17: Deputy Commissioner, Indu Kanwal Chib, today convened a meeting with PHE and Konkan Railways Corporation Limited to discuss strategies for revival of depleting water resources besides assessing damage to existing schemes of PHE and Irrigation departments due to works being carried out by the KRCL.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Ramesh Chander, besides other senior officers attended the meeting. The meeting had a detailed discussion on several issues like status of depleting water resources and the ways to revive and conserve those in a professional manner besides tapping of new water resources. |
