Jammu, May 17: The Annual Investiture Ceremony of the Students' Council of Alexander Memorial Hr. Sec. School, Residency Road, Jammu, in the School Campus. Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation and Vice President, State BJP was the "Chief Guest" and Johnny William (IPS) Former IGP and President, Alexander Memorial Educational Society, Jammu was the "Guest of Honour". The Principal, Esther William, welcomed the "Chief Guest" and presented a bouquet to her. The Chief Guest presented the School Flag. and the House Flags to the Head Boy, Head Girl and the House Captains respectively. The Chief Guest decorated them with sashes and badges. All the members of the Students' Council led by Master Sohrab Raja, the Head Boy and Miss Rashu, the Head Girl, took the Oath of allegiance, obedience and loyalty to the school and the country. The eight House Captains are Rahul Dogra and Saffron Christopher (Youngson House), Shehzan Malik and Vishakha Bhatti (Hutchison House), Sohil Farooq and Aqsa Jan (Alexander House), Zeeshan Wani and Riya (William House) were decorated with the respective House badges. |
