Contractors Association meet DC Kishtwar | | | Early Times Report KISHTWAR, May 17: A deputation of Contractors Association Kishtwar led by its President Farooq Ahmed Saddiqui met District Development Commissinor Kishtwar and submitted a memorandum with charters of demands. The association demanded that all works in CVPP be executed and allotted to the local contractors as per schedule and guide lines of the state government instead of Central Vigilance guide lines because all the projects are in State J&K and are being executed by CVPP, the executing agency like J.P and AFCON companies be directed to engaged registered and experienced contractors for executions of different nature of works instead of engaging in inexperienced man because such practice may put the nation in a great loss because un experienced persons will always use sub standard works and rates should be given as per J.K.S.R schedule, Locals area development scheme be implemented at all sites of H.E. Project because work is in progress and there is no school,Hospital or any other facilities at project sites,the wages of the Labour which are engaged in Power project be enhanced at the earliest because they are violating the labour law, XEN PWD be directed to put the tendering only those work which are above the estimate of Rs.50 and the tender under work of CSR and NABARD works be cut in small amount and then be put on tendering so that all contractor's will apply. DDC Kishtwar Angraz Singh Rana gave patience hearing and assured the deputation that all your genuine demands will be solved. District Development Commissinor Kishtwar on spot issue instructions to project's authority to redress the the genuine demands of the contractors. |
