State land retrieved, shall be used for establishing RSETI | | | Early Times Report KISHTWAR, May 31: A team comprising Tehsildar Kishtwar Parmod Kumar and officials of Municipal Committee, Rural Development Department, Police conducted anti-encroachment drive to remove encroachments from the state land. The team conducted the drive and retrieved state land at Salam Kanie near Government Middle School Bagwan Mohalla, Kishtwar. The land had been encroached by Karam Chand S/o Hari Ram R/o Village Trigam A/P Village Kishtwar. The team also retrieved the state land situated at Indira Nagar in village Lachkhazana, encroached by Tanvir Ahmed S/o Aziz Mohd. Mohd Ayaz S/o Ab. Rashid and Haq Nawaz (Army Employee Naik JAKLI RC) S/o Lt. Ab Rashid respectively. Meanwhile, an FIR has been lodged against the offenders for creating hindrance in eviction of unlawful encroachment from State land at Indra Nagar besides for damaging the JCB escorts, attacking the officials with stone pelting. It was informed that about three and half Kanal land had been retrieved from the encroachers at Indranagar which shall be used for establishment of Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) to facilitate unemployed youth. |
