MNP seeks removal of M-Form system | | | Early Times Report Jammu, May 31: Manvadhikar National Party J&K unit today appealed all Kashmiri Pandit social organizations and political parties to come forward and discharge their bounden role for removal M form system from voting system of KPs living in exile for last 30 years. In a statement issued today by State Party office, Sanjay Dhar State President, Vinod Pandita General Secretary, Vishal Jotshi State Incharge, K. L. Raina State Secretary and Ashok Koul Joint Secretary state today appealed all KP social and other political parties to come forward and help this community to remove this tedious M -form system from voting system of Kashmiri Pandits living in exile for last 30 years due to which 90 percent of this community is unable to vote in exile. These leaders once again appealed election commission of India and Government of India to adopt a simple and prompt voting system instead of this difficult M form system for KPs living in exile as this being grave violations of human rights violation which needs to addressed on priority keeping in view also the coming Assembly election in the state. They further added that Relief commissioner of Migrants Jammu, being the nodal agency of KPs must also play its assigned role by taking up the issue seriously with election commission of India and other concerned agencies for removing M form system as people have many times approached him in this context. |
