| ARTO challaned 50 vehicles, realizes fine of Rs 10000 | | |  Early Times Report
DODA, June 2: ARTO Doda on the directions of District Development Commissioner Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode conducted road checking at different locations in Doda wherein violators were booked under different provisions of Motor Vehicles Act and rules framed there under.
During the checking, 50 vehicles were challaned/ compounded. An amount of Rs 10000 was realized as fine on spot from the violators.
Moreover, two private vehicles operating as taxi cab were seized. DDC Doda has directed the Motor Vehicle Department Doda and traffic police to continue the drive against violators to check the menace overloading, over speeding, illegal parking, drunken driving etc so that the commuters may not suffer any more. |
