Mendhar, June 2: In a surprise development, the PDD has sent bill to a consumer after 16 years of his death.
According to the sources, Lt. Mohd Hussain s/o of Atta Mohd resident of village Kallaran died on 16 Feb 2003 but he continues to receive the bill from PDD.
The son of the deceased has approached the concerned several times with the request to transfer the connection to him but all in vain.
The authorities issued new ID to him but retained his deceased father's ID. This has exposed the functioning of the PDD, sources said. The deceased's son, Rafiq has sought intervention of higher authorities. |
