Jammu, June 9: Police today rescued 5 bovines and seized a truck from Ambaran area thisafternoon, however the truck driver managed to escape .
According to sources , a private truck tried to break the pannu chowk nakka, same was chased and intercepted at Ambaran by alert police party.
"After a long chase, driver left the vehicle in road and managed to flee from spot,Vehicle no JK02BK5754 was seized and five bovines rescued, in this connection FIR No 125/19 US 188 RPC,3 PCA, 279/336RPC was Registered at PS Akhnoor", they added .
