"The areas which I have visited during the past few days have common complaints that there are no drains, no sanitation and water and power supply are erratic," said Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an Independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency. He said, "Had our elected representatives just concentrated on basics, today people would not have been suffering on all the fronts." Munish told the people that if he wins the forthcoming Assembly elections his first priority would be to ensure that people get all the basic amenities. "I have come to you people with an open heart and mind. Strengthen my hands and I promise you that change will come and issues which make our lives miserable would be resolved.
