Jammu, June 9: Akhil Bhartiya Mahajan Shiromani Sabha (ABMSS), Gandhi Nagar Mahajan Sabha and Greater Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha organized an awareness programme on "Prevention of Drugs Abuse."
Speaking on the occasion, M K Sinha, IGP Jammu Zone, Ramesh Kumar Deputy Commissioner Jammu and Sujit Kumar DIG Jammu-Kathua Range advised the parents, teachers and NGOs to put up joint efforts to curb the menace of drugs.
Sham Lal Langer, president Akhil Bhartiya Mahajan Sabha, who also spoke on the occasion said that the state of Jammu & Kashmir State is already struggling to cope with terrorism while it is also under the constant threat of drug addiction which is getting hold on the minds and bodies of future generations. Others who spoke included Jugal Mahajan, Chief Patron Gandhi Nagar Mahajan Sabha and Raghubir Chander Gupta, President Greater Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha. Prominent citizens who were present on the occasion include Rajiv K Gupta Gen Secretary ABMS, Jagdish Vaid, P C Gupta, Raman Mahajan, Ravi Rohmetra, Vijay Gupta, Nathu Ram Gupta, Ravi Gupta, Devinder Gupta, Yash Pal Gupta and others. |
