Early Times Report Jammu, June 9: The Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu today visited the various venues in Jammu City to oversee the smooth conduct of the Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET-2019) which was conducted by the University of Jammu. JUET is a prelude to the commencement of the Admission Process for the Academic Session 2019-20. Accompanied by Prof. Keshav Sharma, the Dean Academic Affairs; Prof. Rajni Kant, Director DDE; Prof. R.K. Ganjoo, Director CDC; Prof. Kulwant Singh, Controller of Examinations, Dr. Meenakshi Kilam, Registrar and Dr. Neeraj Sharma, Spl. Secy. to the Vice-Chancellor, the Vice-Chancellor interacted with the Observers, members of the Supervisory Staff and the examinees to take stock of the various aspects of the conduct of the JUET to ensure that the entire process was fair and transparent. While talking to the stake holders, Prof. Manoj K. Dhar expressed that the University of Jammu was committed to provide the best possible Academic, Infrastructural and Research facilities to all its Students and Scholars. JUET is a gateway for Admission to the various Masters' Degree Programmes/ Post Graduate Diploma Programmes and the Under Graduate Programmes as offered by the University of Jammu in its Main Campus, the Offsite Campuses and the various Affiliated Colleges. The University of Jammu received an overwhelming response and more than ten thousand candidates appeared for the JUET at the various Examination Centres which were constituted at the various places across the State i.e. at Jammu, Kathua, Poonch, Rajouri, Udhampur, Kishtwar, Bhaderwah, Srinagar and Leh as well as at the National Capital, New Delhi for the benefit and the convenience of both the parents as well as the Students. |
