Interactive workshop on women security organized | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 13: Bhartiya Kala Sangam today conducted a workshop on the women harassment at workplace Act 2013 at Doordarshan Jammu in which all Doordarshan staff comprising male female participated. A welcome address and introduction was given by Vinod Bhan, Director Doordarshan Jammu about his working staff including women. Romesh Singh Director Bhartiya Kala Sangam introduced about key speakers on behalf of Bhartiya Kala Sangam which is a empanelled NGO under department of women and child development Govt. of India. He spoke on the prevailing condition of women of India and regarding provisions in this law. Rampaul Dogra, a social activist who being authorised panellist of Bhartiya Kala Sangam NGO spoke on the making of law aspect and its history. Some quarries were also raised by some male and female employees were raised and same settled on the spot. Sugandha Mahajan Asstt. Prof. and (KPS) kept the concern of women harassment and domestic violence occurring in the society. She stressed that both the genders should work together in decent manner to construct a good society. She advocated that law should be implemented in letter a spirit. |
