Lecturer spits anti-India venom on social media | Where's Kishtwar police? | | Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report JAMMU, June 13: A 10+2 lecturer in a government school in Kishtwar is spitting anti-India venom on the social media, with the police looking the other way. Irfan Butt, a resident of Figsoo, Thatri is 2017 batch lecturer in Sociology department under RBA quota and is posted in Higher Secondary School Chatroo which was marked by a controversy few days ago wherein another lecturer Faisal Mattoo forcefully cut the hair of more than 20 students. Butt has questioned the martyrdom of CRPF personnel in the Pulwama terror attack and termed it a "handiwork of Prime Minister of India." "Black Day for us where #PMIndia gets his own soldiers killed and put country to war like situation #Shame -- # SayNoToWar-- #SayNoToModi," reads one of the posts shared by Butt. Not stopping here, the lecturer in another post describes the Indian media as "wagging tale of a dog that never straightens" for its patriotic coverage on release of captured pilot Abihinandan Varthaman. He also promotes religious hatred on his Facebook page. Also, he has termed the Indian Air Force attack on terror camp in Balakot, Pakistan as "political drama." Speaking to Early Times, a group of employees in the Education department said that the lecturer in question is habitual of raking up controversies. They said that he also made a derogatory comment against the Sub Divisional Magistrate Chatroo for which he later apologized. The Principal of the school also apologized later to the Magistrate and warned the lecturer. When contacted, senior officials in the administration and Education department assured action against the erring lecturer and added that the service rules are clear in this regard. |
