Reject dream merchants, vote for change: Munish to people | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 22: Editor Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Saturday said that people of Jammu have become politically mature and the people who sell dreams cannot befool them anymore. Carrying forward his mass contact programme in different areas, Munish informed the people that he is making a humble attempt to serve a common man. "I have come to you to seek your support so that we can together lay the foundation of new Jammu," said, Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an Independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency. "During all these years we have grown politically and have realized that some people only sell dreams as their performance as public representatives has been zero," said Munish. He said that during his ongoing mass contact programme he has visited several areas and people everywhere are up in arms against the leaders, who have represented them in the past. "Political awareness among the people is a good sign. It shows that they won't allow their vote to go in a vain. Choosing our representative is in your hands. The upcoming Assembly elections are a golden opportunity to weed out the people who have misled us during all these years," Munish said. "Give change a chance. It's the people only who can bring the change by exercising their franchise in a proper way," he added. |
