Jammu, June 27: Continuing his commitment to provide better basic facilities to the people of Jammu City.
Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation alongwith Councilors Sharda Kumari & Sham Lal , Arun Gupta Xen JMC, Junior Engineer JMC & other field staff of JMC visted various localities of Wrd No.47 & 48 which includes, Bahu Fort,Gorkha Nagar Kalika Colony etc & met with the inhabitants of these wards & listened to their grievances. They put forth before Mayor regarding improvement of sanitation, desilting of deep drains/Nallah flowing through their Mohalla, as dirty water overflows on the roads due to their blockage, reparing/ installation of street lights on the road leading to Bahu Fort temple lifting of stray dogs/animals, repairing of lanes & drains.
Mayor directed the officers to look into the demands of inhabitants & resolve their issues on war footing Later Mayor also inaugurated the foundation stone of Sulabh Sochalaya near Kalika Colony Bahu Fort which was the major requirement for people of surrounding areas & pilgrims/ tourists who visit in large numbers at Bahu fort temple, & Park. Representatives of Sulabh International were also present during the tour. |
