Amit Shah snubs 'blackmailer' politicians, separatist leaders of Kashmir | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, June 27: With the conclusion of two-day visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, one thing has become clear that BJP led government is not going to give any importance to Kashmir based main stream as well as separatist groups who earlier used to blackmail successive central governments on one or other pretext. By rejecting repeated requests of main stream and separatist parties to open dialogue process to solve so-called Kashmir issue, Union Home Minister gave importance to security scenario and good governance in J&K. During his two-day stay at Srinagar, Shah gave clear directions to the administration that Union Government was not going tolerate corruption in the governance and any lapses in security scenario. Credible sources said that through back channels and through some officers, who were earlier played as an agents of Kashmir based main stream and separatist parties to threat Central governments, some groups tried to convince Union Home Minister to make some announcement of dialogue but all their game-plan was spoiled by Amit Shah, who is well aware of issues pertaining to J&K. Credible sources said that some Kashmir based groups were hoping that Shah will succumb to their blackmail tactics and would make some announcement to initiating dialogue process but they were shocked when Union Home Minister did not utter even a single word. Instead of giving any importance to these blackmailer groups, Amit Shah tried to establish direct contact with real representatives of J&K. He visited residence to martyr Inspector Arshad Ahmed Khan to give a message to the brave policemen of J&K Police that Union Government was standing like rock behind those forces who are fighting terrorism in J&K. |
