Budgam : From the incriminating materials recovered, the killed terrorist has been identified as Zarar from Pakistan, who was affiliated with proscribed terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). Arms & ammunition recovered. Case registered.
The encounter broke out in the early morning today after a cordon and search operation was launched by security forces in Kralpora Checkpora area.
During the search operation, the hiding terrorists fired on the search party of the forces and it was retaliated.
The spokesperson said with efforts of police and security forces, it was a clean operation and no collateral damage took place during the exchange of fire.
