Jammu, Aug 29: Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu celebrated National Sports Day. Children were filled with exhilaration & exuberance on the occasion of National Sports Day. The entire event was witnessed in the benign presence of Kuldeep Handoo (Indian Wushu Coach) who graced the occasion as Chief Guest, Bhanu Pratap (Asian Gold medalist), Ashi Jamwal (National Wushu Player) Rohini Aima; Principal cum Vice-Chairperson of the school and all the Co-ordinators. The event commenced by a Welcome Song to greet the guests followed by multifarious games like Inter-house Volley Ball Championship, tug of war, Taekwon-Do, Athletics, Yoga, Relay race, hurdle race & ended with martial arts demonstration. Wisdom house was declared as the winner of Volleyball, Optimism House as the winner of Tug of war whereas winners of Taekwon-Do were Boys of Passion house & Girls of Harmony House. Special arrangements were made for the students to view the session "Fit India movement" by honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi. |
