Jammu borders on high alert as Pak shelling intensifies | 'Daure -khas' terrorists eyeing to infiltrate | | Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 29: Amid continued shelling by the enemy country in Rajouri, Poonch areas for the past around a month, a red alert has been sounded across border and the LOC in the Jammu region. Sources said that the intelligence agencies have received inputs that Pak was trying hard to infiltrates its "special" group of highly trained terrorists into Jammu and Kashmir. It was reliably learnt that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, who is on visit to Ladakh has been apprised about the nefarious design of the neighboring country. Sources said there are inputs that in the garb of intense shelling, the Pakistani army was eyeing to push in terrorists who have undergone sophisticated "Doure-Khas" training into Jammu region. "Doure-Khas is the special training that is given to the suicidal squad who are trained to fight in warlike conditions," said a senior official on the condition of anonymity. Sources said in the last of around fortnight Pakistani commandos have personally trying to help terrorists in the infiltration attempts. It was reliably learnt that the Indian defense forces have killed at least ten Pakistani commandos along the LOC border areas in the attempts to let terrorists to sneak into Jammu and Kashmir. Sources said such terror groups were eyeing to infiltrate into Jammu with sole motive to disrupt peace and prosperity in the region. "The peace and support of the people of Jammu to the historic decision of revoking the special status has shocked Pakistan and thus it wants the situation to change in Jammu," said a senior official on the condition of anonymity. "The vigil on our side is at its fullest but they (Pakistan) are desperate because the enemy country has been internationally sidelined by the world forums over the abrogation of Article 370," the official added. |
