Jammu, Sept 16: A free medical camp for eye and general health was organized at village by We Care Welfare Society (WCWS) in association with Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission Charitable Hospital, Ambphalla, Jammu. We received a overwhelming response and around 400 patients from villages Latori, Sonari, Mehari, Karmal, Dhana, Thandori , Bamiyal, Sumani Phare, Kakryal, Kadmal, Daedal, Drabi, Tikri & Madgal turned up for free medical checkup and Doctors consultation along with free quality medicines were provided to all the patients. More than 30 patients were screened out for cataract operation and society will conduct the operation at Vivekananda Hospital Jammu. Moreover, 40 spectacles will be distributed to needy patients. Also blood sugar and BP tests were conducted for the benefit of patients. Dr Chandan Sharma, Sr Physician Specialist, left no stone unturned to provide the best consultation and assistance to the patients. We Care Welfare Society is thankful to Dr Gopal Sharma, BMO, Govt Community Health Centre, Katra for providing all sort of help for conducting this health check-up camp. A dedicated team from Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission Charitable Hospital Ambphalla led by Opthamologist Dr. Debapriya Chatterjee , Ravinder (Lab technician) , Pawan Sharma (Liaison Officer) , Shakuntala Devi (A.N.M) , Anita Tak, Rattan Singh , Varsha Sharma (Refractionist) extended their voluntary services and provided the best eye-treatment to all the patients. |
