India favours talks with Pak but Drones come in the way
9/26/2019 10:26:51 PM
India has favoured reopening of doors of dialogue with Pakistan unless Islamabad makes its plan clear that it will not export terror to India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made it clear that India wants "certain concrete steps" from Pakistan before resuming talks during his meeting with US President Donald Trump, who hoped that the two neighbours could "work out something" on the Kashmir issue. Trump expressed confidence in PM Narendra Modi's ability to tackle terrorism, again advising him to hold talks with Pakistan PM Imran Khan to resolve all issues bilaterally. The focus of discussions was on the impact of terrorism on India. PM Modi made it clear that there was no hesitation in talking to Pakistan, but Islamabad must take certain enabling steps, regretting that it had spurned his earlier peace overtures. Trump praised PM Modi for his governance skills, thought he could be the "father of India" and compared him with rockstar Elvis Presley for his ability to mesmerise the crowds" while talking to the media.
Trump responded to questions on Pakistan's sustained sponsorship of violent extremism in India with a vote of confidence in PM Modi's ability to tackle it. "The Indian Prime Minister has given a loud and clear message to Pakistan," he said, adding that "PM Modi knows how to deal with it. India is in favour of reopening doors of dialogue with Pakistan. But as far as Islamabad is concerned it does not stop export of terror to India and Particularly to Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan Army have been resorting to series of ceasefire violations with the purpose of pushing groups of militants into Jammu and Kashmir who escalate the level of violence in Jammu and Kashmir. This gives Pakistan an alibi that the Indian security forces were indulging in human rights violations when actually through ceasefire violations Pak troops resort to human rights violations.
If we taken incidents of ceasefire violations in Poonch and Rajouri into account there some domestic animals have been killed and civilian houses have become target of mortar shells hits in which large number of civilians do get hurt. And Trump has responded to Modi when Donald Trump said that he had confidence in Modi's plans and once such plan was to end terrorism from the globe. Pakistan has sought help from unfriendly China in sending Drones for supplying arms and weapons to Sikh militants and this way Punjab is being given a new shape of insurgency.
