| Strengthen my hands to lay foundation of new Jammu: Munish to people | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 26: Editor, Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Thursday asked people to strengthen his hands so that he could carry forward his mission of laying the foundation of new Jammu.
Carrying forward his mass contact programme in different areas, Munish said, "Country is progressing at a fast pace and Jammu cannot afford to lag behind. All of us have to come together and put Jammu on the path of development. We cannot just wait for things to happen. We will have to make them happen."
"I am aware of the fact that the leaders who have represented us during the past seven decades have not done much for the people and it is not easy for you to trust anyone," said Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency.
He said, "The upcoming assembly elections are a golden opportunity for the people to vote for a change. They have to choose between the right and the wrong. Electorate should give new faces a chance and say good bye to the leaders, who have just fed them with slogans during the past seven decades."
Munish urged people to ensure that they vote for a candidate who can lead them from the front and resolve their day to day issues. |
