JAMMU, Sept 26: In another success in connection with the ongoing probe into the killing of RSS leader Chanderkant Sharma and his PSO Rajinder Kumar along with the killing of Parihar brothers, Kishtwar police today finally booked another accused for the gruesome murder of RSS leader and his PSO inside District Hospital Complex Kishtwar on 9-4-2019.
As per the details available with "Early Times", Kishtwar police today produced Tariq Hussain Giri, resident of Poochal Kishtwar before the court and the concerned judge remanded him to 5 days police custody.
Tariq Hussain Giri is said to be the affiliated with youth wing of banned radicalized Jamat-e-Islami organization commonly referred as Jamat-e-Tulaba and runs a cosmetic- cum-garment shop near ITI complex Kishtwar.
The accused was though detained by the police for questioning after his name surfaced during the ongoing mega investigation in which three accused Azad Hussain, Nishad Ahmed and auto driver Nisar Ahmed Sheikh have already been arrested and booked in FIR No. 67/2019 U/S 302, Arms Act at police station Kishtwar for conspiring to kill the RSS leader and his PSO, was today finally named as accused in the above mentioned FIR.
The sources said that during the course of the investigation, more names that are directly or indirectly involved for helping and providing the logistic support to Hizb militant groups active in the District.
The sources said that several persons are being questioned added that those found innocent has been sent back to home while few had been detained and their fate will be decided after proper verification and the nature of their involvement.
Meanwhile, the search and cordon operations are still going on at large scale in the areas falling in Malipath area of Kishtwar town, Link road, Marwah colony, Lanyal and other adjoining areas is goining on since last 24 hours in which army is taking the lead with the active support of local police and other security agencies presently camping in Kishtwar while Kishtwar Police is looking after the investigation and law and order part. |
