Jammu, Sept 26: The Crossed Swords Division of Indian Army is going to organize a rally at Tanda, Akhnoor with an aim to reach out to veterans, veer Naris, widows and their families. According to press release, the rally will give an opportunity to solve their problems related to pension anomalies, health, resolution of grievances and for extending legitimate benefits under schemes offered by adjutant General's Branch of Army Headquarters. To make this noble endeavour meaningful, a holistic approach will be adopted wherein more than 1500 Ex-servicemen, Widows, Veer Naris and their Kin belonging to Akhnoor, Jaurian, Khour and Mera Mandrian Tehsils will be invited, the press note reads. On the spot welfare measures on the rally day are also being planned that includes Health Camp providing experts medical cover and advice by special teams of, Gynecologist, ENT Specialist, Ortho Specialist, Ophthalmologist and Medical Specialists. The rally is being attended by officials from Rajya Sainik Board, Civil administration, different Departments of State Govt, DPDO, Banks, ECHS and representatives of pension establishment. |
