Jammu, Sept 27: The development of park at Channi-Himmat Sector-5 is in progress with the efforts of an NGO, Mother the Nature and State Housing Board Channi Himmat and Urban Forestry Department.
The sector-5 park was a barren piece provided and it took long persistent, local residents strenuous efforts to have the CRPF camp shifted and green cover was laid.
State Spokesperson of BJP, SS Bijral said that years of painstaking efforts of Urban Forestry deptt and local residents, floriculture authorities are fashion designing well grown up trees, devastating eye catching green cover and healthy climate.
"All efforts at pleading with them to respect trees and years of efforts of multiple hands fell on deaf ears, said Bijral. |
