Terrorists keep shopkeepers, transporters, fruit growers on edge
Masked men stab orchard owner in Shopian

Early Times Report
jammu, Sept 27: National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval has asked the security forces to act tough against the terrorists, who are not allowing shopkeepers, transporters and private school owners to resume their normal operations in Kashmir.
According to the media reports, the NSA chaired a high-level security review meet in Srinagar on Thursday and passed clear-cut directions to the security agencies to go after the elements and the terrorists, who are threatening people, including the fruit-orchard owners in the Valley.
An analyst while talking to Early Times said the restrictions from the entire Valley have been lifted. "People are moving freely and even the private vehicles are plying in every district of Kashmir but the terrorists sponsored by Pakistan are threatening businessmen and transporters due to which normalcy is not returning to the Valley," he added.
"To make their writ prevail masked men on Thursday evening stabbed an orchard owner in South Kashmir's Shopian district. Terrorists are not even allowing the fruit merchants to sell their yield to the government. They just want life to remain disrupted in the Valley," the analyst said.
It is in place to mention here that Jammu & Kashmir Police has recently stated that, "Elements threatening people will be taken care of."
"Despite the assurance given by the J&K Police, the ground situation in Kashmir continues to be grim as terrorists and their supporters have managed to keep the Valley shut," said a Kashmir watcher.
He said, "Terrorists unleashing terror and targeting innocents has brought the real face of terror to the fore. They stand exposed and people seem to have realized that neither Pakistan nor the terrorists sponsored by it are the well-wishers of the Kashmiris."
A Kashmir watcher said, "Challenges for the security forces have multiplied since August 5 when Jammu & Kashmir was reorganized. Pakistan has not been able to digest it and has kept the terrorists ready on the launch pads. These terrorists are waiting for a chance to cross-over into J&K so that they can carry forward the agenda of their bosses to spill blood in the state."
He said, "Terrorists turning their guns towards the common people could prove to be the last nail in their coffin as people have been left with no other option other than to revolt against these gun wielding men, who at the behest of their bosses sitting across the LoC, are deriving sadistic pleasure by holding the people of the Valley hostage."
