Jammu, Sept 27: Department of Environmental Sciences, Govt SPMR college of commerce, Jammu organised a lecture on the topic "Single use Plastics" to spread awareness about ill effects of use of plastic related products.
The principal of the college Prof(Dr.) Anil Gupta address the students and urged them to reduce the use of plastic made materials so as to make environment eco friendly.
The lecture was delivered by HOD EVS Prof Anjana Chib. The lecture started with the quote "Plastic is not the problem, it is what we do with it and that means the onus is on us to be far smarter in how we use this miracle materials" The lecture was very effective, informative and fruitful for the students. NSS officers Prof Apfan Ali (urdu), Prof Rajni Bala, Prof Rishu Mahajan, Prof Shahima Akhter, Dr Anu Rani were present on the occasion. |
