Jammu, Sept 29: Former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today said that the Union Government has laid full focus on development of infrastructure to provide best amenities to the people of the state.
Gupta was addressing people after handing over the allotment letters to the 40 beneficiaries of PMAY-Housing for all (urban) at Channi.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Ch. Vikram Randhawa, MLC, Baldev Billawaria, chairman Health & Sanitation committee, JMC, Sobat Ali, Councillor, Surat Charak and attended by large number of people of the area.
The program was organised byRaj Kumar, Councillor JMC, Ward No. 51.
Gupta said, PM Modi has set a target of providing shelter to all under the scheme by 2022 and to make the scheme successful he called upon every BJP worker to identify the needy person for availing the benefit
Vikram Randhawa in his address said that Kavinder Gupta has set an example of development in every sector in Gandhi Nagar Constituency.
He said the public of Gandhi Nagar Constituency is satisfied with the performance of Kavinder Gupta who is easily assessable to public and all the works done in the constituency have been completed with quality work and material.
He said unlike past Congress Representatives from the constituency, Kavinder Gupta has been successful in delivering at grounds.
He also appreciated the efforts of Councillor Raj Kumar and said he has proven his mandate to JMC by reaching out to public and continuing with the developmental works.
