PDF too berates centre for revocation of Article 370 and 35-A
9/29/2019 10:30:53 PM

It has become part of the campaign against the centre by the Kashmir centric parties. And now Chairman PDF has described the latest abrogation of Article 370 and 35-A as war on the aspirations of the people of the state, Chairman PDF said that that the state of Jammu & Kashmir was an independent country upto 1947 which acceded to India on certain conditions including Article 370 and Article 35-A. He asked the center not to betray the people of the state for petty political interests. Yaseen does not know that the abrogation of special status could lead to financial revolution and end the problem of unemployment. He follows the footsteps of Farooq and PDP leaders. But he seems to be ignorant of the benefits of the end of special status to the state.
The PDF said speaking to a gathering of his party workers, Hakeem Yaseen said that the people of the state have acceded to India with some expectations which should be fulfilled to win their hearts and minds. Yes minds and hearts of majority of people in Kashmir have not been won but with the passage of time they would throw pro India parties. He said previous regimes in the state with the blind support of the respective central governments have been repeatedly betraying trust and faith of the people for satiating their petty gains. He said repeated betrayals with the trust of common masses have resulted in their deep alienation from the mainstream. He said need of the hour was to address the main cause of people's alienation and to punish those political parties who have ditched the people on false promises.
Hakeem Yaseen said that the blind support to some opportunistic political parties of the state during last seven decades reveal that Kashmir was put into flames by none other than India itself. He said Kashmiris are being treated just like slaves and they have been living in an environment of slavery. But Yaseen should know it that most of the central laws were extended to the state with the approval of the state Legislature. And during the Congress regimes and that of the NC Governments maximum damage has been dome to the special status and if people are to be worried by the abrogation of Article 35-A and by Article 370 when there was nothing left in the special status.
