| ADDC Ramban inspects progress on Gujjar Hostel | | |

Ramban, Sept 30: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Ramban, Nawab Din, today inspected construction work of Gujjar Bakerwal hostel building here today.
Accompanied by the Assistant Director (AD) Planning, Ganesh Sharma and other concerned, the ADDC was apprised that the construction of the hostel was started in February, 2018 by the J&K Housing Board with the funding by the J&K Tribal affairs department.
After inspecting construction site, the ADDC expressed displeasure over the slow progress of work. He directed the J&K Housing Board to speed up the pace of construction work for its early completion.
He said that district Ramban is a hilly terrain and the members of the Gujjar community are demanding early completion of the hostel, so that students of the community from far off areas could avail the benefits of the hostel at par with the other districts.
