| Lala Hans Raj Mahajan birth anniversary celebrations to commence on Oct 2 | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 30: Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha is going to celebrate 153rd birth anniversary of Lala Hans Raj Mahajan, a great social reformer and founder of this Sabha.
The celebration will be a multiple items programme to be held in a phased manner on different dates. It will commence on October 2. This will be followed by Painting Competition on October 13, Rangoli Competition on October 20 and Debate/Ghoshti on Article 370 on November 10. This year a new item "Sangeet Kaka" has also been added in the programme to be performed on any convenient date. The celebration will conclude with the main function on Decembe 8 at Mahajan Bhawan Shalamar Road Jammu.
A Committee headed by Aar Chand Gupta Patron of the Sabha, Om Parkash Mahajan (Kaku Shah), Shiv Pratap Gupta, Om Parkash Gupta, Sanjay Mahajan, Arun Gupta and Prabh Dayal Gupta has been constituted to chalk out further detailed programme for information of all concerned in due course of time. The said Committee will function under the over-all control and guidance of Romesh Chander Gupta President of the Sabha. |
