MPEJ appeal Union Govt to complete works left undone | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 30: Movement for Peace Justice and Equality (MPEJ) has appealed Prime Minister Narender Modi to complete the works left undone by former Prime Minister Rajeev Gandhi regarding corruption in rural-development. KK Rao said, "What Late Prime Minister Rajeev Gandhi had said nearly 30 years ago, is still in vogue right from his time till date? He had said that out of the total funds provided for the developmental works in rural area only 15% reaches to the ground level, the remaining 85% goes into private pockets. Modi's and some of his colleagues' honesty are not sufficient to take the country to real heights of development. Topmost priority will have to be given to check the commission system and other related corrupt practices which are playing havoc with the development efforts of the government". |
