| Mega rally to mark 'Fit India' campaign in Samba | | |

Samba, Sept 30: A mega rally would be organized by the district administration Samba to mark 'Fit India' campaign coinciding with the 150th Gandhi Jayanti.
The rally will start at 7.30 am here from Government Higher Secondary School (Boys) to Samba Fort. The information was given here at a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Rohit Khajuria to finalize the arrangements for the event.
The DC informed that School Children, Officers of district administration and People in large number would participate in the event and spread the message of "Fit India" and 'Clean India'.
He stressed upon all officers to contribute towards eradicating the menace of plastic and encourage youth for taking part in this nobel cause. He laid emphasis on cleaning offices and surroundings while performing daily work. The meeting was attended Additional Deputy Commissioner Vikas Gupta, Assistant Commissioner Development Sidhart Dhiman, District Panchayat Officer Piyush Dhotra, District Industries Centre General Manager; Executive Officers of Municipalities besides other officials. |
